Meg is the CEO and Co-founder of Atolla. She has a graduate degree in Engineering and Management from MIT, and previously worked in design roles at Patagonia, The MIT Design Lab, and Formlabs.



Our mission at Atolla has always been to help you feel more confident in your skin and skincare. We know how difficult it is to put together a simple yet effective daily routine, especially when there are constant changes in your skin or life. We’ve all had to throw away half-empty bottles, wondering why it takes so much time and money to figure out how to best support your skin everyday. That’s why I am excited to introduce two new custom products to our line-up that help make this process so much simpler: cleanser and moisturizer, paired with our serum to make up the new Atolla routine. We made this for you, but it was truly made by you as well. 

When we launched in 2019, we intentionally created just a single product, the serum, so we could become experts on our members’ skincare needs and habits. As our patented data models learned and adapted to better support our members' skin, we were able to use that information to intelligently expand into new product categories. Creating custom moisturizers and cleansers, and ultimately routines, took us almost 2 years of R+D because of our radically different approach from how products are traditionally developed in the skincare industry. 

We’ve gathered hundreds of thousands of data points about skin health and routines, learning about diversity of skin issues and goals, favorite textures, skincare habits, and what products are used in the morning vs night. The most glaring need was clear: We found 1 in 2 people were combining products that had conflicts due to differing textures or ingredients that were not designed to be used together. This underlying and often overlooked issue is often what creates massive product waste and leads to ineffective or harmful results. 

This problem isn’t new, but our solution is: a simplified 3-step custom routine optimized for daily skin health, using effective ingredient combinations in formulas that are designed specifically for you. Instead of overwhelming your shelf with 8-10 products, we’ve streamlined it down to 3 base products that address multiple skin concerns in both your AM and PM routines. We supply one month of formula to be refined from your feedback, so you can ensure you’re getting exactly what you need with each order.

We are thrilled to share this routine launch with you, and we look forward to continuing to build the best products for you to live your best skin.
